News:

I'll be so glad when school starts again next week. I'm so freakin' booooooored lately. Sure, I've been reading and writing a bit, and my dad hooked up the VCR again last weekend so I can finally watch some old movies again, but still, I'm overall bored. Together with all the stress I'm having over my thesis, it makes me grab for the wrong types of food. And that while I was well on the road to achieving my ideal weight. School will help me get my rhythm back on track.

I did get to enact one of my 2010 plans though. I've bought a car . It has a few tiny flaws, but I love it. For example, it doesn't have a rear window *wisser* (don't know the English word. It's that thing that you use when it's raining to get the drops off your window) and the poor thing hardly reaches 120 KpH (max speed in the Netherlands). But it serves my purposes, and now I don't have to fear about driving too fast on the freeway .

In other news. Although I've been avoiding finding a job for years, I'm actually quite glad that I have one now (since October already ). I'm learning new sides of myself that had been hidden for a long time. I'm widely respected by my colleagues for my speed, ability to pick up new things quickly and being organized. I oversee everything with ease, though new colleagues who still have to learn that tend to annoy me a bit. Although, there is actually only one colleague that annoys me for that reason . After he'd started learning what to do in December, he's been working steadily with us since January, and he's such a know-it-all. Claims to know what to do, but wind up not doing it, because he 'forgot' (it was about a small matter, but still). And I'm often stuck with him this month . Pity me...
